Use MercurialEclipse 2.0. The new home is on bitbucket: https://bitbucket.org/mercurialeclipse/main

This bug labelled as "resolved" means there's a workaround other than removing the plugin? Or does it mean it won't work for Juno until MercurialEclipse-2.0?

I have the same problem... just my workspace was closed correctly, so I don't get the recovery warning into the log.

Same problem for me. But it seems that just deletion of file ".metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.core.resources\.snap" helps.

Also there are some class cast exceptions when browsing history.

I am able to recover by delete the .metadata directory and re-importing all of my projects.

I haven't fixed it yet in default so you'd probably have best luck with an older version of Eclipse. That said I know people use HGE with 4.2 fine. Does the problem persist if you use a different workspace?

This was fixed and then backed out because it caused worse problems.

Can you give exact details of your Eclipse install?

This will be fixed in 2.0 a different way to how it was originally. There may or may not be an easy fix for 1.9 stream.
