NetBeans 6.0 ALM Plugin
This Plugin brings Application Lifecycle Management ALM features to the Netbeans 6.0 Platform and IDE.
It provides Project, Tracker, Forum and Build management based on
codebeamer 5.0
server access and introduces it seamlessly into the IDE. The ALM
functionality is being supported by a project-aware Filesystem and Groovy scripting for workflow automation.
This module works only with a codebeamer 5.0 server like this one on http://javaforge.com. Codebeamer server < 5.0 are not supported.
The plugin is Open Source and being distributed under the GPL.
Feature Overview
- You can connect to a codebeamer 5.0 server and access your projects from with the Netbeans IDE.

- All server connections are managed, connection info persists over sessions.
- Projects are displayed in a Explorer Window.

- You can filter tracker and forums with groovy filter.
- You can access all documents that are part of a project as a Netbeans filesystem.

Download and Installation
Unpack Link not available [nbalm-0.8.zip] into some temporary folder and install all the provided NBM files
(using Tools | Plugins). Start with the subversion module, then continue with all the ALM modules.
Follow the instructions in the wizard in each installation step.
Getting Started
Use the codebeamer module by clicking at the ALM Icon in the tool bar. Connect to a codebeamer 5.0 server.
You have multiple options here:
- Connect to a project on http://javaforge.com, it runs already codebeamer 5.0.
If you do not have a project there, just add on by yourself.
Connect using http://javaforge.com/remote-api
- You have already a codebeamer 5.0 installation running.
Use the IP address / hostname within your network to connect.
Recommendation for new Codebeamer user: Try out javaforge.com first, download the free codebeamer 5.0 community version later if you need your ALM server close to you ..
